"Star Wars" is not only funny ewoks and endless lightsaber battles. Often, the fate of the galaxy is decided not in the duels of the Jedi and Sith, but in outer space, where the X-Wing, TIE Fighter and other ships, perfectly familiar to fans of the saga, converge in uncompromising battles.

WALL TO WALL

Star Wars: Squadrons is an uncompromising space thriller where five–on-five teams converge in battles. Try to become the best pilot of the New Republic or smash enemies while defending the Empire. The events of the game unfold after the sixth episode – you can watch the story while playing for both factions. In standard mode, players will have to develop tactics and smash the enemy fighter link. But the developers have also added larger-scale flotilla battles, where pilots will need to gain an advantage in phased battles and destroy the enemy flagship.

ON A GUIDED TOUR

Developers have recreated in Star Wars: Squadrons locations familiar to fans, scattered throughout the galaxy. Yavin-Prime, Esseles, Galitan, Zavian Abyss – the game has selected impressive arenas where teams converge. Four ship types from each faction are available to choose from, including the Republican BTL Y-wing and the RZ-1 interceptor, the Imperial TIE Reaper and TIE/IN.

WINNING STRATEGY

To gain an advantage in battles, you have to hone your space combat skills and equip the ship to feel as confident as possible in the cockpit. Gradually, the pilots will receive rewards, including weapons, engines, shields and other components. And the owners of the PS VR helmet will have the opportunity to fully plunge into the battles, shooting enemies in virtual reality. Making a pre-order opens access to additional decorative sets, including items "Ace of the Empire" and "Rookie of the New Republic".
